Celebrating a New Chapter: Post Press Becomes Employee-Owned

In 2002, I was given the opportunity to purchase Post Press from Larry Wittmeyer-an event that changed my life. Over the years, through hard work and the contributions of hundreds of talented individuals (and a few learning experiences), we’ve built Post Press into a nationally recognized leader in the bindery industry.

I’ve often said — and firmly believe — that we are among the top five companies in the nation at what we do. Today, we operate out of a 174,000+ sq. ft. facility and employ 125 full-time team members. Many of them have been with us for the long haul, including one with over 30 years of service, approximately 11 with over 20 years, and around 28 with more than 10 years.

I’m thrilled to share with our valued customers and vendors that, on Friday, August 29th, I sold Post Press to an exceptional group of new owners. Collectively, they bring hundreds of years of experience in the bindery and finishing field. On September 2nd, Post Press officially reopened as an ESOP employee-owned business. All 125 employees now have a financial stake in our continued success, both for Post Press and for our customers.

I will remain on as President and Chairman for the next 3 to 7 years. I’m proud to say that every employee who helped build this company has chosen to stay, and I couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead.

From cutting and folding to die cutting and binding, your jobs will be handled by owners — people who are personally invested in delivering excellence. Our management team remains unchanged, and our commitment to continuous improvement is stronger than ever.

Thank you for the past 23 years of support. Looking forward to the next 23 years.

With gratitude,
Andy Humble
