› 20 years and counting. Over the years we’ve been fortunate to earn the repeat business of dozens of printers in the Kansas City area and around the country.

› We keep things simple and invest in the fundamentals. We’re big believers in the power of multiple checks and balances. Every step and every process gets a second and third look for quality and consistency. We’ll continue to invest in simplicity, clarity, and performance. We find good people and make sure they have good equipment and good leadership so they can do good work.

› Caring more. Treating people right is a core value. We treat our customers like we want to be treated, we treat each other with respect, and we know that work-life balance is essential for long-term success.

President/Owner

Andy is the president of Post Press Specialties and is responsible for strategy, finance and marketing. He started in commercial printing over 25 years ago after graduating from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Printing Management. Andy joined the Post Press team 15 years ago and bought the company from the original owners in 2002. He developed his leadership and management skills by serving 18 years in the Army Reserve, and he’s a combat veteran of Desert Storm. Andy and his team at Post Press believe that speed, service and craftsmanship are everything. When he’s not researching and buying the latest post press finishing equipment, Andy spends time with his wife and children at Royals games, country music concerts, and Table Rock Lake. Personal Motto: Success is not the result of making money; earning money is the result of success — and success is in direct proportion to our service.

Jacob sets the pace for scheduling and production, keeping velocity and throughput high. His sense of urgency and attention to detail have been developed from his nearly 20 years in the industry. Jacob knows that each day is a team effort so he hires good people and helps them deliver their best work. He’s a Royals fan, Chiefs fan, and devoted K-Stater and when he’s not at a game in his off-time, you’ll most likely find him in Colorado spending time with friends, siblings, or his 12 nieces and nephews.

Dean is the newest member of the Post Press leadership team. He graduated in 1990 from Pittsburg State University with a bachelor’s degree in printing management and then in 1991 with a master’s degree in the same field of study. His career began over 25 years ago as a production manager for a prepress union shop in downtown Kansas City. He managed three different prepress shops over the course of ten years before accepting a job with a large web and sheetfed printer. His responsibilities for 15 years included leading the customer service team as well as performing the duties of plant operations director which comprised of overseeing all of the print, bind, and mail operations of the organization. Dean is excited to be on the Post Press team and is looking forward to being part of the growth of the company. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife while either camping or working in their flowerbeds. His two older children attend Pittsburg State and his youngest child is looking forward to one day also attending!

Sam Sewell

Sam was born in raised in Independence, Missouri and took a part time job with a local printing company at the impressionable age of 15. When starting college in 2000 Sam decided to also go to work for Post Press Specialties, a decision that he has never regretted. Sam has worked in numerous roles at Post Press including machine operator in multiple departments, assistant dock manager, and customer service representative before finding his true passion in sales. Sam believes that in his current role he must be a solutions provider while offering quality products and service, all delivered on time. He truly appreciates and enjoys the relationships he has formed in the industry over the years and looks forward to developing new relationships in the future. Sam enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and two young children.

Matt Jackson

Matt began his career in the late 1990’s in mid-sized print shop located in southeast Kansas where he ran multiple pieces of bindery equipment as well as a 5-color Komori printing press. After ten years of service he moved to the Kansas City area where he became a sales and service rep for an extensive line of bindery and mailing equipment. In 2013 Matt accepted a position with Post Press with a duo role in production management and sales. Matt’s past experience and his production management role at Post Press allows him to make recommendations and plan customer projects using the most efficient means possible. When not selling or managing high quality finished products, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, taking care of their horses, and riding four wheelers.

Bowen is the resident expert on fast, fair and accurate pricing. He’s worked in the printing and finishing industry since 1994 and has been with Post Press since 1999. While Bowen enjoys seeing the transformation of flat printed sheets into books, folders, displays, and boxes, the most rewarding part of his job is working with his production staff to bring complex projects to life in creative and cost-effective ways. When not at the office, you can find Bowen skiing, boating and riding motorcycles very fast (on a closed racetrack.) No matter where he is, his best times are spent with his wife and teenage son.
